a passing thought

i was thinking about the kids who dont have anything to eat for days together..... nature's fury or man's blunder which lead them into a situation where they have to fight for their survival in all respects; be it fighting for food or saving your head from rain. coming to the origin of this international thought in a subaverage intelligent mind was also a survival tactic. coming to it, yesterday was yet another of those days where you lose track of everything one do. there was a confusion about he morning class(i am refering to a particular somebody). so had to rush through to the class without breakfast.then there was this day stretched in front of you where you dont see an end to your work. finally you think you have reached the end of the day some more work is piled up on you, which on the contrary you accept with grace. then by the evening the realisation dawns that only thing which your stomach got to digest today was a couple of biscuits and some black tea. there is no stopping your hunger cues.looking at the time one have in hand to complete the work indulging in food didnt seem to be the best option. so the one should learn to be satisfied with whatever is available. the most solid food which is easily accessible was samosas. the need for more solid food was substituted by samosa and some cake. back to work. in the nigth around 9 you are not feeling hungry. the nitritional needs are met(anyway my bmi will look into other matters)but what about the cognitive needs. i wanted to have a huge plate of rice with a lot of side dishes.....then the thought came to my mind-what about those kids who dont have food to eat to sustain their life. you are worried about cognitively satisfying yourself. i didnt feel ashamed rather a resolution was taken. not to ever crib about food. i could have taken another resolution of trying and helping out the hunger stricken population out there. but maybe i am not meant for it. i will do it when the time comes. now i will do what i can....

ENTE BASHA- my language

out of curiosity i enabled the transliteration part in the blog and the after effects are displayed for everyone to see. it is a strange feeling to see your mother tongue in the print. as it is this is not the correct script which is availabe in the print. well i thought i will pen down(correction-type ) a few things about my 'mathrubasha'. it is a language written in the same way as it is pronounced. that i think most of the dravidian languages are. but the best part is it is one of the most difficult languages to learn. it is said that some typical brain centers need to be aroused to pronounce certain words in the language. basically speaking pazham(banana) is kinda smallest word in malayalam. but pronouncing it correctly require some skill.same stands for most of the words. i know people who know all the other three south indian languages but struggles when comes to this one. there is a saying in malayalam which goes like this"you need to clean your tongue properly to speak good malayalam"-this is a tongue twisting languageis the abstract level interpretation. it is said that keralites as a group learn languages easily( dont know to quote any study as proof) but thriving of keralites anywhere in the world is the best example i can give. this is a language which has borrowed from all other dravidian languages. that is the reason with some effort we understand what others are speaking. but once speaking happens in malayalam it is greek and latin to the listener.

DIAMONDS IN THE FIELD

i remember reading something which goes like this- diamond is nothing but coal which was under pressure for a long time. the catch line is when you go through whole lot of pressure in life you will evolve out as a precious gem, which is in demand, which is admired and respected. but what i wonder about this is-diamonds dont come out by themselves proclaiming themselves. they should be dug out and again processed for a long time till it attains its last form. when one go through gruelling sessions it is nice to hear such things. you might be a pseudo-diamond for a while after you pass through all the gruelling then again you r the coal which needs more pressure to evolve out as a diamond.

TiMe

the value of time is something everybody knows. still it is he most discussed topic. this is the one point on which parents and children have clashes. this the only thing for which the big leaders wait. this is something which we feel is in abundance but eludes us easily. when one is a student u always hear everybody talking about how u waste ur time. one doesn't know what they all mean by wasting. when u r working again the same thing. how can time be wasted. the only answer is some abstract reasoning of doing something productive and which will help u gain something and i dont know what all.but isn't this productive thing a very subjective reasoning? what if for somebody sleeping is productive... simply because they feel rested. for someone else it is watching TV because it gives entertainment and joy. for someone else it will be video games, cartoons, sex, chatting, blogging... the list is endless. if they have an explanation for the time they are indulged in it if they enjoy the time they involve in it, if they don't regret the time spent on it, why should others be bothered about it?some places to some people are sacred. they feel that if they don't work like maniacs the whole system will fall down. they feel guilty and ashamed if they sleep 5 min more than usual. they are distressed and feel they have wasted time walking up and down to arrange things. if they find someone else sleeping or having fun they have this miserable expression on their faces; saying u r privileged to sleep if i do that the sky will fall on everybody's head. so i will have to go on like this till the end.the message is loud and clear. everybody have the same amount of time with them. what they want to do with is their choice. DO NOT INTERFERE. do what you wanna do with your lives.........
